NLA Sunday Aseda is the latest lotto game from Ghana’s National Lottery Authority. The game premiered nearly a year ago in July 2022. However, it has already won the hearts of many primarily because it is one of the few licensed lotto’s to have a Sunday in Ghana. In introducing this game, NLA opted for the name ‘Aseda’. This name in English translates to ‘thanksgiving’. NLA say they chose the name as they want to thank the multitudes of Ghanaians who have shown faith and confidence in NLA’s games over the past decades.

How to Play NLA Sunday Aseda 

Unlike some games that come from NLA, Sunday Aseda is a game which players can only enjoy when they visit NLA regional outlets or affiliated merchants countrywide. This is necessitated by the fact that the game can only be enjoyed on the NLA POS Terminals.    

Like most other NLA games, however, Sunday Aseda is a 5/90 lotto game. What this means in simple terms is that when playing this game, players will see that the NLA Sunday Aseda ticket has a 90-numbers game grid. On this game grid, the player’s task is to pick five lucky numbers that they think will be drawn in the lotto draw. When picking the five lucky numbers, players need not repeat any number on the same entry (ticket).     

NLA Sunday Aseda Ticket Prices 

The NLA Sunday Aseda ticket costs just GHs 2.00. Players however do have the chance to purchase more than one entry per draw. The beauty of doing this is that each additional entry on the ticket increases the odds of winning.   

When the Draw Takes Place 

NLA Sunday Aseda is a weekly game whose draw is conducted every Sunday. The draw is conducted at 6:00 pm local time and its broadcast live on UTV and streamed on NLA’s Facebook and YouTube pages. 

NLA Sunday Aseda Prizes 

The prizes for the NLA Sunday Aseda differ depending on when last the winner of the jackpot emerged. If the winner emerged in recent weeks, the prize will be slightly lower than if the jackpot has gone for weeks without a winner emerging. The jackpot prize is awarded for getting all five numbers correct. However, consolation prizes are awarded to those who fall narrowly of getting all five numbers correct.

Repeatedly picking the same number on the same entry is not allowed.   

A single-entry ticket for basic play mode costs GHs 2.00

NLA Sunday Aseda is only open to players who have attained the age of 18

All players who win any amount that equals or is below GHs 2,500 can claim their winnings from any NLA outlet or affiliated merchant. However, all those whose winnings exceed this mark will only be eligible to claim their winnings when they visit the regional NLA branches
